Script Hook is a neighbor, not a synonym

Kiddions documentation will not become a full ASI tutorial. We keep this chapter so “ScriptHook vs Modest Menu” does not get a fake how-to. If your addons crash, fix the neighbor stack first, then attach Kiddions in Story Mode per the guide.

What belongs in OpenIV, not in Kiddions

Gameconfig, heap adjuster, and packfile limit notes exist because addon vehicles fail for those reasons even when the overlay never attached. Fix the neighbor stack on a vanilla Story boot. Then attach Kiddions. Mixing both failures into one “menu crashed my game” thread is how hashes get blamed for OpenIV mistakes.

This official ZIP does not require ScriptHookV. Some players run both. They are different products. ASI loaders stay off the Online executable. BattlEye is not a troubleshooting step we will publish.

If a guide tells you to replace ScriptHook to “make Kiddions undetected,” it is malware copy. Story Mode overlay attach is on the guide.

Do I must install ScriptHookV for Kiddions?

Not as a requirement of this official ZIP. Some players run both; they are not the same product.

Can I use ASI mods in Online with this?

No. Story Mode only. BattlEye is not in scope.

ScriptHookV is a neighbor. Kiddions Mod Menu is a session overlay. This ZIP does not require ASI. Addon crashes are gameconfig and heap before they are overlay bugs. Keep ASI off the Online executable. Guides that say “replace ScriptHook to stay undetected” are malware copy, not our docs.

Vanilla Story boot, then attach, is the only order we will repeat. OpenIV mistakes are not a Kiddions hash problem.
