Capture order that actually works

Set time and weather first. Spawn or dress second. Slow motion last, only for the stunt beat. Reversing that order fights Rockstar Editor’s own clock. If you already opened the pause-menu Editor, close the modest tree so two clocks are not fighting. Film in borderless windowed mode when the overlay must stay readable at 4K; exclusive fullscreen is the usual reason the tree vanishes mid-take.

Radio skip and cutscene skip are quality of life, not a director suite. Leave them off when the beat is the point of the clip. A 4K overlay that looks tiny is DPI, not a missing “cinematic pack.” Troubleshooting covers that; this page stays on camera intent.

We will not ship LUT packs, depth-of-field hacks for Online interiors, or a second replay exporter. Hand the clip to vanilla Rockstar Editor. That is the product boundary.

Does Kiddions replace Rockstar Editor?

No. It sits beside it for time, weather, and slow motion.

Should I record in exclusive fullscreen?

Prefer borderless if the overlay must stay visible. Exclusive mode often hides the draw.
